The Editor:
To the fertilizer truck driver who hit and killed our beloved dog on Tues., May 23, on County Road 3: we don’t blame you if it was unavoidable. We are upset, however, that you didn’t have the common decency to stop and let us know.
Thank you to the man who did stop and carried our dog to our nephew’s house.
Sadly, we were unable to be with him [our beloved dog] during his final moments.
