Residents of The Garden Villa and the Nation View seniors’ apartments on Water St. created a patriotic ambience with their Canada 150 celebratory décor. The interior entranceway of the Villa was all red and white (photo above). Reports have it that the Nation View (photos at left and below), with its Canadian-eh milk can at the doorway, all verandas with the red and white theme including flags, even to the picnic tablecloth and gardens around the building, has received an award for the best Canada Day decorations from Cornwall Housing.
