The Russell High School T-Wolves Girl’s basketball team welcomed the Rockland District High School Wildcats to the “Den” on Wed., Oct. 25, in PRSSAA. The T-Wolves had gone 4-0 on the season and hoped to make it 5-0 with a victory over the Wildcats. It was a tough fought battle but the T-Wolves did come out on top with a 32-29 victory. According to the T-Wolves’ coach, Kevin Kennedy, “This team has dealt with adversity and challenges along the way. Injuries affect lineup combinations and playing time. And yet, each and every player on our team has made valuable contributions to all of our five wins.” The T-Wolves’ Vanessa MacDonald (20) drives the ball to the net past a couple of Wildcats.
