A win would secure second place for Red and a meeting with Blue in the A final next week. Green shocked Red as they opened the scoring just 1:06 into the first period as Patti Hall fired one to the back of the net from Amber Saddlemire and Theresa Schoones to take a 1-0 lead.
Red wasted little time getting even as Kaila Beckstead snapped one to the back of the net at 5:56 from Sara Casselman. Red took their first lead of the game when Lesley Ann Tupper slid one across the goal line at 10:30 from Shaelynn Shay.

Blue looked to remain undefeated in the round robin portion of the tournament with a victory. It didn’t take Blue very long to get on the scoreboard as Carly Crump was sprung on a breakaway just 55 seconds into the first period and she made no mistake going low stick side from Jaclyn Crump taking a 1-0 lead.
Blue made it 2-0 when Kara Bartholomew pounded one home from the slot at 7:33 from Jaclyn Crump and Leigh Ann Dearing. Blue took a 2-0 lead into the second period. Carly Crump scored her second goal of the game at 8:23 of the second period unassisted to give Blue a 3-0 lead.

Yellow spoiled Blue’s goaltender, Roxanne Crump’s shutout bid at 9:51 as Alex Roach sniped one from Jackie Morris but that was as close as they got as Blue took the game 5-1. With the win, Blue finished in first place in the round robin and will play Red for the A championship next week. Yellow will welcome Green in the B championship.
