Kurtis Barkley from the Cedar Glen Golf Course travelled to the Woodington Lake Golf Club in Tottenham near Toronto on Aug. 25-26. Barkley shot a 74 in round one and a 75 in round two; he finished the tournament in 1st place with a +5, good enough to claim the inaugural disability championship. Barkley travelled to Calgary on the week of Aug. 13-16 for the Canadians Amputee and Disabled National Championship at the River’s Edge Golf Club. Barkley settled for 3rd place and jumped from 47th in the world rankings to 14th a total of 33 spots. With the win in Toronto, Barkley moved up to 13th. Courtesy photo
