The Casselman Vikings welcomed the Embrun Panthers to the J. R. Brisson Complex on Thurs., Feb. 20, in the CCHL2. The Vikings’ forward, Nicolas Chartrand (20) was sprung on a breakaway in the first period but the Panthers’ goalie, Marco Latassa was able to stop him. Chartrand stayed with the puck and set up teammate Zachary Fournier seconds later as the Vikings cut the deficit in half to 2-1. The Vikings were struggled against the Panthers coming up short 4-2.
