‘One-stop shop’ for local residents to complete or renew passport applications

CORNWALL – Local Member of Parliament Eric Duncan (Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry) will resume hosting a series of local passport clinics during the week of Aug. 9 to Aug. 13. The clinics, organized by appointment only, is an opportunity for residents to apply for, or renew, their Canadian passports in one-stop with a photographer on site.

“We have seen an increased demand for passports over the past month as more residents consider making winter vacation arrangements and want to travel to see their families again,” said MP Duncan. “These clinics are a quick and easy way to submit their application and have their new passport ready for when the time comes.”

The five clinics will take place in Morrisburg, Lancaster, Bonville, Chesterville, and Cornwall. Those interested can call MP Duncan’s Cornwall Constituency Office toll-free at 1-888-805-2513 to book an appointment and receive the details.

Attendees must also review the requirements of what documents to bring, and to print the necessary forms off in advance, at www.EricDuncanMP.ca/Passports. If required, paper copies of applications can be mailed to attendees.

“We pride ourselves on offering great customer service, and these clinics are one more way we can help hundreds of residents with an important federal service,” said MP Duncan. Duncan’s office, and his predecessor Guy Lauzon, have completed over 100,000 passport applications since 2004.
